Bartender – Sudima Christchurch Airport

Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a Part-time Barperson at our Sudima Christchurch Airport Hotel. This is a part-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week and a pay rate of $27 per hour. This role blends global influences, cultures, and talents to create a popular guest space.

Responsibilities

– Ensure bar prep for a successful evening drinks service.
– Support the restaurant team with drinks and food service.
– Understand the ingredients used.
– Have a passion for creating extraordinary cocktails.
– Prepare all beverages to order.
– Ensure the bar and tables are always clean.
– Close the bar, ensure all checklists are completed, and set up for the morning shift.
– Do daily banking and cashing up of the till.

Requirements

– 1-2 years experience in bar service preferred.
– Excellent communicator.
– Understanding of the Sale of Liquor Act.
– Attentive, friendly, and professional service.
– Excellent wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge.
– Ability to work weekends and evenings.
– Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
