Job Description
Nixon Automotive Ltd. seeks the services of an automotive service technician to join them in Canada.
Responsibilities
You will be saddled with the following responsibilities:
- Inspecting and testing mechanical units to find faults and problems.
- Checking motors while in use, road testing vehicles, and examining automotive systems.
- Fixing, adjusting, or replacing parts of automotive systems.
- Diagnosis issues and confirm findings with the supervisor for repair decisions.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or parts.
- Adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s standards.
- Carry out regular maintenance services.
- Ensure units meet specifications through testing and adjustments.
- Document problems and work done in reports.
- Discuss work orders and progress with a supervisor.
- Offer customer service assistance.
