Join our Central Transport team as an Airfield Ground Lighting Engineer and contribute to solving complex transport challenges. You’ll support the Technical Director in developing business opportunities in the Airfield Ground Lighting environment and strengthen our Aviation business through project delivery and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist in delivering Airfield Ground Lighting projects
• Provide technical AGL inputs as a designer, reviewer, or site engineer
• Ensure timely and accurate project contributions
• Develop and maintain business relationships with clients
• Assist in business and opportunity development for the Aviation team
• Keep knowledge current and contribute to the GHD Global Knowledge Base
• Prepare high-quality reports and deliverables
• Support AGL project delivery across GHD centers

Requirements:

• NZCE / BE (Electrical) or similar
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering/Technical Engineering Design projects
• Knowledge of international best practices for airfield lighting projects
• Familiarity with ICAO, IEC, FAA, CAA NZ, and other regulatory frameworks
• Experience with Technical Specifications for contract documentation
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit/BIM, Microsoft Excel, and Word
• Good business acumen and initiative
