Job Description

Agriculture Applicator Operator -A renowned agricultural store servicing local producers around Ontario is looking for an Agriculture Applicator Operator to join their team year-round.
This position will be in Ayr and is available year-round; however, if this location is not of interest to you, we would still want to speak with you.
As the Agriculture Applicator Operator, you will operate, drive, and apply specialized equipment. Seasonal responsibilities may include driving floats, sprayers, delivery equipment, or forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining equipment such as custom application equipment and an assigned vehicle.
  • Practicing safe driving techniques.
  • Warehouse duties as required.
  • Working in processing areas as required.
  • Mix and apply crop inputs to fields.
  • Following all pesticide labels.
  • Maintaining records as required.
  • Performing daily safety checks.
  • Loading and unloading containers and pallets on trucks, trailers, or rail cars by forklift.
  • Perform maintenance on assigned vehicles.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Blend fertilizer, weigh tanks, and assist in inventory counting.
  • Ensure all vouchers and invoices are tracked and completed.
  • Completes all assigned record keeping.
  • Set up material handling for blending, manufacturing, and storage.
  • Performs a combination of yard work.
