Job Description
Shehnai Restaurant seeks the service of an administrative assistant to join their team in Canada. This role requires you to be flexible, focused, and attentive to details.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage contracts
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Answer electronic inquiries
- Compile data, statistics, and other information
- Respond to employee questions and complaints
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Arrange travel-related itineraries and make reservations
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
- Perform data entry
- Provide customer service
- Maintain and manage digital database
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
