Job Description
Watercare is New Zealand’s largest water and wastewater utility, providing over 400 million liters daily to Auckland. With a planned $18.5 billion investment over the next 20 years, sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint are key priorities.
Requirements:
- Electrician with Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering level 4 qualification
- Minimum of 5 years industrial experience, preferably in Water/Wastewater industry
- NZ Electrical Registration and current NZ Electrical Practicing License
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety standards
- Full, clean NZ driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Provide planned and emergency maintenance services
- Install and upgrade electrical systems
- Perform fault diagnosis and repair on electrical systems
- Understand and mark up electrical drawings
- Support the engineering team as needed
