Job Description

A farm assistant service is needed in New Zealand. This role requires you to be focused, reliable, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Milking cows twice a day (morning shift starts at 5:30 am, afternoon shift starts at 3:00 pm, each taking approximately 2.5 hours)
  • Identifying and managing animal health issues
  • Shifting cows and feeding out as required
  • Calving and calf rearing
  • Performing basic farm maintenance tasks, including fencing and repairing water lines
  • Handling other general farm duties as needed

Requirements

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Basic knowledge of farm operations and animal care
  • Willingness to work in a team and take direction
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of farm work
