Job Description
GHD seeks a highly motivated and passionate Engineering Geologist to support the wider team, providing innovative solutions and high-quality project delivery. This role focuses on broadening skills in planning, design, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide engineering geology input to projects, including site investigation, data analysis, and geological modeling.
– Prepare and write technical reports.
– Undertake field testing, site-based investigations, data compilation, and analysis.
– Coordinate technical activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure analytical setup.
– Consult with stakeholders to achieve best-for-project outcomes and explain technical information.
– Act as Project Manager for routine projects, managing project documentation and client interactions.
– Supervise project or design team activities and provide feedback on performance.
– Prepare proposals and pricing information for routine projects.
– Support and coach less experienced team members.
– Participate in the Young Professionals group in the region.
