Job Description

Insta-lift is seeking the service of a forklift mechanic to join their team in Canada. The work requires you to be attentive to details and ability to distinguish between colors and physical demands by handling heavy loads.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

Here are some of the key responsibilities required of you as a forklift Mechanic

  • Ability to check and test engines to find and fix problems.
  • You will adjust, repair, or change parts of mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Carry out regular maintenance and service tasks.
  • Inform customers about the work done and the condition of their equipment.
  • Fix and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
  • Review work orders and talk with a supervisor about tasks.
  • Test and fine-tune repaired equipment to make sure it works correctly.
