Salary: 26.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring, and barricades
- Mix, pour, and spread materials
- Assist heavy equipment operators
- Level earth to fine-grade specifications
- Pave and rake asphalt
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- Read and interpret blueprints
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior construction experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting heavy objects, working at heights)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions
