Job Requirements for Wait Staff Position
To be considered, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in table service within restaurants, cafés, or similar venues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Confident recommending food and beverages to guests
- Flexible and reliable, available for a rotating roster (including weekends)
- Full working rights in New Zealand with no restrictions
Responsibilities for Wait Staff Position
- Welcome and seat guests with professionalism and warmth
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately
- Provide menu knowledge and recommendations
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service
