Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Solid experience in welding and metal fabrication, especially in trailer builds or heavy vehicle manufacturing.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a workshop or fabrication setting.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, and skilled use of fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and work to precise specifications.
- Excellent team coordination and time management skills.
- Strong communication abilities and a safety-first mindset.
Preferred but not required:

- Relevant trade certifications or qualifications.
- Experience managing teams in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of welders and fabricators, promoting efficiency and collaboration.
- Oversee and participate in the fabrication of trailers and custom builds.
- Interpret and execute work according to detailed technical drawings.
- Monitor quality, safety, and output to maintain high standards.
- Assign daily tasks and manage team workloads to meet project timelines.
- Provide guidance and training to new and existing team members.
This is a hands-on position, so expect to be actively involved in the welding and fabrication processes.
