Job Requirements for Sales Supervisor Position
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
- Possess 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail or supervision
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada (citizen, resident, or valid work permit)
- Be reliable, organized, and capable of managing store operations
- Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
- Be comfortable standing for long periods and managing multiple tasks
Responsibilities for Sales Supervisor Position
As a Sales Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Assigning tasks to staff and managing day-to-day activities
- Hiring and training employees, or arranging necessary training
- Handling inventory control and authorizing merchandise returns
- Managing staff schedules and store cash procedures
- Addressing customer complaints and supply issues
- Preparing sales and merchandising reports
- Conducting performance reviews for team members
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise presentation
- Ensure accurate stock records and reorder when needed
- Support team members and lead by example during busy shifts
- Monitor customer satisfaction and respond quickly to issues
