Salary: 16.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and practices
- Ability to follow recipes and adapt to changing menus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy kitchen
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Food handling certificate or equivalent certification
