The Role
Reporting to the Process Improvement Engineer, the main responsibility of this role is to optimize the operations by implementing and maintaining process controls and maximizing safety, quality and profitability. These activities are to be built on the Sealed Air Performance Management System (PMS) foundation throughout the extrusion department.
You will focus on business improvement, process technologies, and improving customer quality and efficiency. With an understanding of the overall process, you will identify areas of loss and opportunities and then deliver value to the business. You will also actively identify and participate in process improvements. And monitor improvements/solutions in the plant post-implementation in support of the Operational Excellence program.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in an Engineering or Technical discipline and strong experience in a similar role. You will be Lean Six Sigma qualified (green or black belt) and have experience delivering project milestones and/or approval expectations.
