Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be physically fit and capable of manual labour (some roles involve heavy lifting)
- Be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
- Be safety-conscious and follow health & safety procedures
- Be able to pass a drug test and have a clear criminal record
- Have a valid New Zealand work visa, residency, or citizenship
- Possess a valid NZ driver’s licence (Class 1–5) or WTR endorsements for some roles
- Previous labouring experience is a plus, but not essential
Responsibilities
As a general labourer, your tasks may include:
- Construction site support and general clean-up
- Devanning containers and pick-packing
- Gardening and landscaping
- Road maintenance
- Factory and production line duties
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
- Wear all required PPE provided by AWF
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently
